Upon completing the Mentor Foundation program, the participant will be able to:

Understand the purpose of mentoring, including how it benefits both parties involved and the mentor’s responsibilities.

Familiarize themselves with the essential aspects of mentoring, including the mentor’s stance, ethical principles, workshop techniques, and common pitfalls at the beginning.

Utilize key tools for conducting effective mentoring sessions and processes.

Provide feedback in a manner that fosters warmth, partnership, respect, and mutual kindness.

Adhere to the professional standards of mentoring as outlined by the EMCC approach.

Recognize the importance of continuous development, including self-reflection and supervision, for ongoing growth as a mentor.
