The Mentor Practitioner Accreditation Program is an advanced developmental course focused on enhancing the mentoring competencies of practicing mentors. It is the second stage (following the Mentor Foundation) in the mentor training at STIBITZ Mentor Academy.

Upon completing the Mentor Practitioner program, the participant will be able to:

what goals can be pursued in the mentoring process and understanding the difference between a goal and a strategy

what are the principles of the mentoring process, how open questions and feedback are used

how to diagnose the client’s needs and how to define the limits of your competence and responsibility

what are the basic diagnostic tools to help the mentoring process

when and how to use coaching techniques in the mentoring process

basic techniques to support self-diagnosis and target calibration

physiological conditions of the human being in the process of change and accompanying the mentee in the change process

Accreditation and certificates

Stibitz accreditation programs have received the prestigious EQA accreditation, an international quality mark for coaching and mentoring courses and modules. This esteemed recognition allows our course participants to obtain accreditation at the Foundation and Practitioner levels through our programs, often referred to as the “fast track.”

This program is ideally suited for you if, as a mentor, you want to:

  • Accurately diagnose the client’s needs
  • Define mentoring goals and use open-ended questions
  • Work with the mentee’s goals and utilize diagnostic tools
  • Apply coaching techniques within mentoring
  • Establish the boundaries of your competencies and responsibilities
  • Differentiate between goals and strategies and formulate feedback
  • Support and accompany the mentee through the change process, define barriers, and recognize beliefs
  • Set the framework for the mentoring process and measure its success

The Program Includes:

  • 80 hours of theoretical and workshop-based sessions
  • 4 individual supervisions
  • Consultant support – 1.5 hours of individual consultations
  • 5 self-reflection sessions
  • Certificate with EQA accreditation upon meeting EMCC requirements
  • EIA EMCC individual accreditation at the Practitioner level upon meeting additional EMCC conditions

Admission Requirements:

  • Completion of the Foundation module or another certified coaching or mentoring course/program of at least 20 hours.
  • Documented mentoring practice for at least 6 months prior to the start of the course, including a minimum of 60 hours of practical experience.
  • Submission of the application form and an interview with a Consultant.

Methodology and Structure of the Course

Our mentor training course utilizes a variety of techniques and work forms, including:

  • Interactive lectures
  • Self-reflection
  • Case studies
  • Individual and pair exercises
  • Presentations

Sharing Observations and Feedback

During the sessions, participants have the opportunity to share their own observations and insights, as well as receive feedback from other participants and trainers.

Role of Trainers

Trainers actively participate in the sessions by guiding and supporting the questioning process and monitoring the participants’ progress. After each session, we provide detailed feedback on listening skills, questioning techniques, and the structure of responses.

DAILY SUMMARY

At the end of each training day, participants provide feedback to the trainers, allowing us to assess their skills in this area. Additionally, participants conduct a daily summary by answering the following questions: What did I learn today? What was new to me? What did I discover?
